Holiday Adventure (Part1)

During the school holidays , I went for holiday with my family . The holiday lasted a total of five days . I was filled with excitement the day before , as it has been awhile since I took a plane , and was not able to sleep . This was evident from the fact that I ended up having black eye patches . I ended up not wearing my shoes properly and had to eat my breakfast in the car . Upon arriving at the airport , I felt nervous and could not keep still . I paced around the airport and surprisingly , it calmed me down - a bit . Walking around the airport was like an adventure in itself . With the Flora and fauna which dotted the area , I soon forgot where I was and began scouting around . I looked at the exotic orchid and wondered if the reason why it is the national flower was because it depicted the concrete jungle in Singapore . My gaze was diverted by the magnificent fountain which shot up to the second floor . I gasped at the beauty and brilliance . The lights which coloured the water was soothing and I was enticed to have a quick shower . My trance was abruptly and rudely interrupted by the calling of my sister . I tore my gaze away from the many jets of water . My excitement was renewed when I was told that it was time for boarding .

I leaded the way only knowing where to go by the sign which says "Indonesia" . We , my family and I , passed through the entrance and waited in line . I watched the seconds ticking by and the old anxious feeling regained itself . I tapped my legs when finally at long last , after waiting for five whole excruciating minutes , it was our turn to board the aeroplane .
